gothalo is a self-hosted mobile remote for Herdr — control your coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Cursor, and the rest) from your phone: see which agents are blocked, working or done, get pushed when one needs you, approve or type a reply, and drop into a full terminal, all over your own Tailscale network. It is a small Go bridge on the Herdr host plus a Flutter app. MIT, no account, no relay.

  • A Herdr host: the machine your agents already run on, macOS or Linux.

  • Tailscale on that host and on the phone. The tailnet is the auth boundary; gothalo opens no public ports.

  • Herdr’s agent integration installed for every agent kind you run, or the transcript view shows one agent’s conversation under another:

    Terminal window
herdr integration install claude # likewise: hermes, codex, opencode, ...
  • Optional, for push: your own Firebase project. Push stays inert without one.

Install

Install the bridge, run it on the tailnet, pair a phone, get the app. Install

Push

Notifications are outbound-only through a Firebase project you own. Every fork needs its own. Push notifications

Contracts

The wire format the app codes against: the /events stream, and one contract per endpoint. Contracts
